Rules and Regulations

  1. Applications may be submitted by companies in the private and public sectors as well as technology companies. However, the focus of the program is on how the project was successful for the client, so their input is vital and should be included in the applications.
  2. After a thorough review of the written applications by the judging panel, winners for each category will be notified prior to the ICX Summit, where the ICX Association Elevate Awards Ceremony will take place. The winners’ identities are to be embargoed until after the ceremony.
  3. The application scores will count for 60% of the overall score, and video demonstration will count for the remaining 40%. Mere fractions of percentage points may separate winning entries, so please make sure you follow the application, and answer each question completely.
  4. Awards will be presented for first place in each category. The ICX Association Elevate Award winners will be announced at the ICX Summit on June 12-14, 2018 in Dallas. The award winners will also be highlighted in press releases, through ICX Association social media properties and on the ICX Association website. If you win in your category, you’ll have the opportunity to give a brief (1 minute) acceptance speech at the ceremony. Please save the date. Each winner is responsible for booking travel, lodging and entry for the ICX Summit.
  5. A portion of the project must have launched between January 1, 2017 and January 1, 2018, and you must have sufficient results to support the success of the project.
  6. All entry forms must contain a contact person and their contact information for the end-user client, not just the technology supplier.
  7. The ICX Association reserves the right to move applicants into more appropriate categories upon receipt of application. The ICX Association also reserves the right not to present an award in a category that does not receive adequate submissions. If this happens, any entry fees will be refunded to entrants in categories not awarded.

ICX Association Elevate Award Categories

Content Awards

The first four categories recognize excellence in the quality of ICX content used in a variety of vertical markets across a variety of tech platforms. Each submission will be evaluated by a panel of judges, and the highest total score wins. Judges will evaluate quality and results.

Content awards will be evaluated according to the following rubric:

  • Did the content meet the objectives?
  • Was the content engaging?
  • Did the content fit the environment?
  • Did the content fit the intended audience?

Please ensure that your submissions answer the above questions.

Vertical Market Awards

Winners in each vertical market will be evaluated by a panel of judges, and the highest score wins. Judges will evaluate each submission based on the video content and the narratives supplied.

We no longer award for specific technologies (i.e.: digital signage, Kiosk/Self-Service, Mobile). Because ICX deployments have evolved and sometimes include a multitude of platforms and technology, our awards reflect this evolution. We are looking at the total solution in the vertical listed. Submissions should reflect this.

ICX Deployment of the Year

The ICX Association will award the ICX Deployment of the Year award to the submission that achieves the highest average score by our panel of judges.

ICX Influencer of the Year

The ICX Association will award the ICX Influencer of the Year based on our research and evaluation of the ICX landscape. The winner can be an individual or an organization that demonstrates unique leadership and innovation in the use of technology to elevate the customer experience.
